The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio hosted a blessing and grand opening of the new Health Pavilion – Stone Oak on April 3 with community leaders, physicians, nurses, clergy, and associates attending the event. Msgr. Patrick Ragsdale, pastor of the Shrine of St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, took part in the ceremony. The new Health Pavilion-Stone Oak is a place where children and their families will receive specialized care. It is the first pediatric multispecialty center of its kind outside of downtown and the medical center.

Additionally, the new Health Pavilion – Stone Oak will feature outpatient services at a new KidSTOP location where children can receive X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound, and medical tests needed for diagnosis and treatment of conditions that can be treated right at this new location.
