Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, MSpS, Auxiliary Bishop Michael Boulette, and former Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Cantu, who is now the bishop of Las Cruces, N.M., were in Piedras Negras Sept. 1-3 for the semi-annual Texas-Mexico Border Bishops meeting, discussing a wide variety of concerns shared by prelates on both sides of the Rio Grande. The next Texas-Mexico Border Bishops meeting will be held in San Antonio. In addition to presentations on various topics, the prelates also celebrated a Mass with the people of Piedras Negras.
