Zach Sanchez and Victor Castillo, of St. Anthony Catholic High School, celebrate with sports anchor Greg Simmons on being chosen as KSAT- 12’s Scholar Athletes of the Week.

SAN ANTONIO • St. Anthony Catholic High School (SACHS) has announced that seniors Zach Sanchez and Victor Castillo have been selected as KSAT 12- Scholar Athletes of the week.
Castillo serves as a team captain of the Yellow Jackets football team and plays both corner back and running back. Sanchez, also a member of the Yellow Jacket football team, plays as a middle linebacker and is responsible for 33 tackles so far this season.

Sanchez and Castillo are both multi-sport athletes who excel on and off the field. Sanchez has a 4.1 GPA and is in the top 10 percent of his class. After graduation, Sanchez, plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration and attend law school. Castillo had a 3.98 GPA and is also in the top 10 percent of his class. He plans to study mechanical engineering after graduation.
